World Premiere performance of Sir John Tavener{u2019}s epic work written for the new Millennium, recorded in St Paul{u2019}s Cathedral, London, in January 2000. Richard Hickox conducts the City of London Sinfonia with Patricia Rozario, Michael Chance and Stephen Richardson, in a work which came to Tavener in a vision. The composer makes full use of the remarkable acoustic of St Paul{u2019}s, presented here in breathtaking 5.1 Surround Sound.
