Abstract
"The book is devoted to the design of networks for signal processing in the entire spectrum of their applications, starting from single filters through filter banks, ending with image and video filters. The presented design strategy is based on gyrator-capacitor () circuits as prototype networks for these filters. Thanks to this approach, it is possible to implement the designed circuits both as continuous time analog filters composed of operational transconductance amplifiers and capacitors (OTA-C) and discrete time filters made in switched capacitor (SC), switched current (SI) or digital techniques. Particular attention is paid to the last two techniques, SI and digital, suitable for fabrication as integrated circuits in the most advanced nanometer-scale technologies"-- Provided by publisher.
