Abstract
"The goal of this edited volume is to offer a comprehensive and up-to-date discussion of related topics on youth deviance, youth crime, and youth justice from a neuro-psycho-criminological standpoint. Broadly speaking, neuropsychology is the science that is concerned with the relationship between the brain and human behavior, while criminology is the scientific study of crime and criminal offenders. Neuropsychological criminology (or simply as neuro-psycho-criminology), which combines the two, is generally concerned with the use of neuropsychological knowledge and skills (e.g., cognitive neuroscience, brain development) to explain, describe, and potentially prevent or deal with deviant and criminal behavior"-- Provided by publisher.
