Abstract:
"Parameter estimation is crucial for high-performance permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) drives. Many commercial PMSM drives include parameter estimation features, often considered black boxes for online/offline estimation. However, due to commercial sensitivity, techniques are rarely shared, and estimation performance varies between companies. Developing reliable, generic methods to reduce errors, especially under varying speeds and loads, remains a challenge."-- Provided by publisher.
