This work is intended to be a guide for cardiologists unfamiliar with artificial intelligence, as well as for engineers and data scientists unfamiliar with cardiology. To the best of our knowledge, there is currently a lack of similar work presenting the current state of the art on the use of artificial intelligence-based models in cardiology. Similarly, there is a paucity of texts that thoroughly discuss the pros and cons of using this cutting-edge technology in the field of cardiology, both in routine clinical practice and in the context of research. This volume will be of interest to all those interested in the application of artificial intelligence in the medical field, and specifically in cardiology.
