Abstract:
"The book provides a systematic treatment on topics related to the three-phase AC converter design. It consists of four parts, 12 chapters. Part I is an introduction, which explores the basics of the three-phase AC converter, its design, and the goal and organization of this book. Part II, from Chapters 2 to 4, is on components, including power semiconductor devices, capacitors, and magnetics. This part focuses on characteristics important to the converter design for components commonly used in three-phase AC converters. Part III, from Chapters 5 to 11, is on the design of subsystems, including passive rectifiers, inverters and active rectifiers, electromagnetic interference (EMI) filters, thermal management system, control and auxiliaries, and mechanical systems. Part IV is Chapter 12, on design optimization, which presents methodology to achieve optimal design results efficiently for three-phase AC converters through design automation"-- Provided by publisher.
