This volume focuses on such topics as aesthetic plastic surgery of the face, calf implantation, silicone breast implants, angiosomes and extension of skin flaps, liposuction, cranial sutures, tenorrhaphy evaluation, and malpractice. Chapters, three of which are followed by editorial comments, review new and old principles, and some provide a history of procedures. The editors continue to address important, controversial topics and, in doing so, are providing a significant forum for communication and interaction between plastic surgeons and their colleagues in other medical disciplines.
