Two thirds of the chapters are expanded from the keynote speeches and presentations of participants from the 6th Business Chinese Workshop in Conjunction with the 2nd International Conference on Business Chinese Education under the title "Beyond a Limited Scope: Chinese for Specific, Academic, & Professional Purposes" which convened in March 30-31, 2018 at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa.
