Table 14-1 shows search fields that may be delivered as part of a subscription to the Bowker Syndetics ICE™ extra content. The fields that are available in your system depend on the components of the service to which your library has subscribed.
For every delivered search field, the table shows the delivered search field, its name, whether the data in the search field is checked when the patron performs a search, whether the search field can be displayed if configured to do so in the search results list or the detail display, whether the search field can be used as a facet for search profiles, and the name of the normalizer (if applicable) that is used to normalize the data in the search field.
